Can I get my money back explores data degradation and data circulation with an ephemeral receipt paper at the centre of the project. It begins with exploring decay’s visual language, which involves scanning the original receipt at low resolution, spraying alcohol on the thermal paper, scanning and printing the copies, and shredding the receipt. It sparks a continuous interest in media history, digital data longevity, and data preservation.
