The print is a digital collage utilizing screen captures from the classic PS1 Spyro the Dragon game, along with images of NYPD cop cars and the Sorry board game logo. I was interested in queering the original video game, by utilizing Spyro's main mechanic of fire breathing, to make a pun about being gay and committing crime (hence the titled "Be gay, play spyro!", a nod to Mary Nardini Gang's essay "Be Gay Do Crime").
Riso Colors Used: Yellow, Red, Blue, Fluorescent Pink
